The Golden Assay is a daily sifting of the world’s endless amalgam. It is a journal dedicated to inconceivable truths and occasional fictions; a reconnaissance of the obscure and barely remembered; a display of the everyday and the never before. The Golden Assay is defiantly unprofessional, borne by a roaming curiosity and delivered to you out of a desperate desire to have you see. It is the product of my own personal confusion. The Golden Assay is ambiguous, but that’s intentional. The Golden Assay is not always to be trusted. With the Golden Assay, I aim to explore all available knowledge, and then go further. One might assay stone to find at its center a vein of gold, but this assay is made from the same tender ore it strains to discover.
